Green Seeds

The Green Seeds project was developed to raise awareness of the environmental consequences of everyday actions and to encourage young people to take a more active role in climate action and sustainability education.

Within this framework, the partners carried out a local research phase in their respective regions - Haute-Garonne in France and Thuringia in Germany - in order to understand the real conditions, needs, motivations and barriers affecting youth participation; A Social Media Campaign aiming to encourage and concern young people about the importance of taking action in environmental duties in a local level, as small things made by all of us can make a big difference; As part of the project it was generated a Toolkit which brings tools to those who would like to take action and develop initiatives towards a greener future; As well as the piloting of local actions engaging youth organizations and young people from both regions; The celebration in Germany of an international Encounter between youngsters, youth workers and leaders from France and Germany; As well as the celebration of multiplier meetings where the project, and its results were shown, exposed and discussed with the local communities.
