EU Values

Promoting EU Values Across Borders is an Erasmus+ small-scale partnership in the field of youth, coordinated by Fundacja Kordon in Poland, in cooperation with Association Petite Graine in France and Next Level e.V. in Germany.

The project responds to a shared challenge: many young people, especially those facing social, economic, geographical or cultural barriers, have limited opportunities to understand how the European Union works, what its values mean, and what opportunities it can offer them. This lack of information can contribute to mistrust, Euroscepticism and civic disengagement.

Through this project, the partner organisations aim to make European values more accessible, practical and connected to young people’s everyday lives. The project focuses especially on democracy, human rights, equality, inclusion, solidarity, active participation and migrant integration.

The project activities include a training course for youth workers in Poland, local workshops in the three partner countries, an international youth encounter in Germany, community events and an online awareness campaign. These activities will support young people in understanding European values, exchanging with peers from different countries and developing ideas for local actions that promote more inclusive and supportive communities.

The project also aims to strengthen the competences of youth workers. Special attention is given to non-formal education methods, youth participation, anti-disinformation work and the creation of safe spaces for intercultural dialogue. The partners will work together to produce an online guideline for youth workers, sharing practical tools, methods and good practices for promoting European values and civic engagement among young people.

In the long term, Promoting EU Values Across Borders seeks to contribute to a more democratic and inclusive European society, where young people are not only beneficiaries of European values, but active actors in putting them into practice in their communities.
